Argentina – natural wonderland

While Argentina’s big cities have a lot of urban pleasures to offer, their real purpose is to springboard travellers into the country’s greatest attraction: the natural world. From mighty Iguazu Falls in the subtropical north to the thunderous, crackling advance of the Perito Moreno Glacier in the south, Argentina is a vast natural wonderland.

Day 1 Arrival at Buenos Aires Airport. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 City tour of Buenos Aires.

Day 3 Tour of Delta of Tigre River. Return in the “Tren de la Costa”.

Day 4 Transfer to airport to fly to Iguazu

Day 5 Morning excursion to the Argentinean side of the Iguazu National Park, which borders with Brazil

Day 6 Transfer to the airport to fly to Trelew. Upon arrival transfer to Puerto Madryn.

Day 7 Excursion to Peninsula Valdez, for Whale watching.

Day 8 Fly to Ushuaia

Day 9 Excursion to Tierra del Fuego National park. In the afternoon navigation on to the beagle channel, visit Les Eclaireurs lighthouse and the penguin’s island.

Day 10 Excursion to Fagnano and Escondido Lake.

Day 11 Fly to El Calafate

Day 12 Excursion of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Together with twelve other glaciers it is part of one of the largest sliding masses of ice and snow in Los Glaciares National Park.

Day 13 Navigate the glaciers in Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, including Upsala Glacier, Spegazinni Glacier and Onelli’s Glacier.

Day 14 Transfer to airport
